Professor Ittay Nissan-Rozen is the head of the PPE program. Ittay earned his PhD from the department for philosophy, logic and scientific methods in LSE. After one year as a post-doctoral fellow in the Edelstein Center for the Philosophy of Science in the Hebrew University he joined the PPE program and the philosophy department. His main areas of expertise are decision theory, formal epistemology, formal ethics and philosophy of science. He works mostly on questions related to uncertainty and the role it plays, and should play in our everyday lives, in science and in public policy.
